Guitar Lessons in the Penrith and Lower Blue Mountains Area

My name's Simon Beer, and I'm a guitar teacher with 25 years of playing experience, located at East Blaxland in the Lower Blue Mountains, 7 km (10 minutes by car) from Penrith.

I've been a guitar player guitar since 1984, and I taught my first students in the late eighties. I grew up in Blaxland in the Lower Blue Mountains, close to Penrith, and then moved to Sydney until the early 2000s when I returned to the Blue Mountains.

As I get around to it I'll be adding more material to the website, including some online guitar lessons and tutorials for people who are starting to learn guitar, or wish to improve their guitar playing.

All my life people have told me that I have an unusual ability to explain things to people. They say that when I show them how to do things, I do it in a way that makes it really easy to understand.

Location

East Blaxland is close to the Lower Blue Mountains suburbs of Blaxland (1.0km), Mt Riverview (1.7km), Glenbrook (2.4km), Lapstone (3.4km), Warrimoo (3.1km), Valley Heights (5.7km), Springwood (7.7km), Faulconbridge (9.4km), Woodford (13.1km), Hazelbrook (15.9km) and Lawson (17.9km). In the other direction, I am close to Emu Plains (3.1km), Penrith (6.7km), and many of the satellite suburbs of Penrith.

I have had guitar students come from as far as Lithgow (52 km away) to see me, although there are other guitar tutors much closer to the Upper Blue Mountains and Western NSW regions. People come to me because they like my lessons.
