Discounted First Class
The first class is available at a discounted rate (for new students only). This is an introductory class to see where you are at, and to give you an idea of what the lessons will be like and if they are for you. In this class we will talk about your goals,
aims and objectives. What you are interested in learning? What is your
experience? (No experience at all is fine of course!) What kind of music do you want to learn to play? Where would you like to take your music?
Pricing Policy
The first class is an assessment and it is $25.00.
After that students generally pay either 4, 8, or 10 weeks in advance for a discounted rate compared to the casual class rate. Students who do not wish to pay in
advance will be charged at the casual rate (which is more expensive). Please check the table above for a detailed
account of prices and potential savings.
Prices vary according to the number of weeks paid for in advance. There is a
basic rate for all classes, which is the casual class rate. Casual
rates will apply if you don't wish to pay in advance. Discounts apply
for advance payments. For example if you pay 4 weeks in advance you will receive a
saving of $40.00 (peak) or $60.00 (off-peak). There is a saving of $150.00 (peak) or $200.00 (off-peak) if you pay 10 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Policy
No cancellation fee applies if a reasonable amount of notice of cancellation is given.
In this case, the lesson will be re-scheduled. Students who choose to pay in advance
must complete the specified number of lessons within that period. If
lessons need to be cancelled they must be re-scheduled within that time.
Every effort will be made to re-schedule lesson when
required, if a student cannot reschedule a lesson at any of the times
offered by the teacher the fee for that lesson is non-refundable. Fees
for classes canceled without proper notice are non-refundable.
Special consideration will be applied for reasonable unforeseen circumstances.
Group Lessons
I currently have no plans to offer group lessons. But you never know.... (i.e. this may change in the future). Please let me know if you would like to be on my contact list for future group classes (which would be cheaper than the individual classes). Hope we get a chance to meet down the road.
